Prior to his current role, he was the office deputy director and deputy director of the operation section of the systems department of Wuhan Research Institute of Posts and Telecommunications, the manager of the technical support department of the marketing division, deputy general manager of the marketing department, deputy general manager of the marketing headquarters, chief engineer of the science and technology management department, and chief engineer of the business development center of Fiberhome Telecommunication Technologies Co., Ltd, the deputy director of science and technology development department and the director of science and technology development department of Wuhan Research Institute of Posts and Telecommunications, the director of science, technology and information management department of China Information and Communication Technology Group Co., Ltd. He is now the director, deputy general manager and member of the party committee of China Hualu Group Co., Ltd. In addition, he is the member of the standing committee of the Communication Science and Technology Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the member of the expert advisory group on telecommunication transmission and access of the Scientific and Technological Commission, the director of China Institute of Communications, the deputy director (the third session) of the optical communication technology working committee of the China Institute of Communications, and director of the Hubei Provincial Internet of Things Engineering and Technology Research Center.
