Music base

National music industry base is a special form of music industry cluster in China. The base is supervised by the government and operated by the parks. It involves various industries in a comprehensive manner. In July 2009, the General Administration of Press and Publication issued the Opinions on Promoting the Healthy and Orderly Development of China's Audiovisual Industry. Since then, national music industry bases in Shanghai, Guangdong, Beijing and Chengdu had been approved one after another. Approved for establishment in November 2009, Shanghai National Music Industry Base is the first officially approved national music industry cluster in China. In December 2011, the Beijing National Music Industry Base was officially listed, marking the development pattern of the three major national music industry bases and the important progress in building national music industry bases. Following the completion of the three national music industry bases, the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television officially approved the establishment of the Chengdu National Music Industry Base at the end of 2012.

Chinese old records

As the needle traces the grooves and releases the voices again, we hear the beauty and purity of the music in the past. An old record brings out the glorious stories in the past through the recording of sound that keeps the golden days. In 2012, the "Chinese Old Record Digital Resource Library" project was initiated by China Record Corporation. Listed as a national key cultural project in the Outline of the National Cultural Reform and Development Plan for the 12th Five Year Plan Period, the project aims to rescue and protect precious cultural heritage of China. More than 100,000 metal templates and over 40,000 master tape recordings from the 1920s to the 1990s, as well as a large number of related textual materials were digitalized, and a database of old record digital resources was established. In addition, the "Chinese Old Record Digital Resource Library" project also helps the record publishing industry transform from traditional production to modern digital communication. The project will awaken the past memories left on the master tapes, and let the modern society savor the cultural relics of the Chinese classic records.
